Architecture OMI Restaurant Design

By Ethan Lee

Architecture
Narrabundah College - Year 12

For my Japanese-themed restaurant, I drew inspiration from the harmonious connection between Japanese architecture and nature. My aim was to create a serene and balanced dining environment where patrons could rejuvenate both physically and mentally, escaping the stresses of their lives, especially students. I also wanted to showcase Japanese cuisine and culture while championing sustainability.

The restaurant can host 80-150 diners at a time, featuring two multi-function rooftop spaces that can host separate events or serve as additional seating during peak hours.
