Celebrating research across º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ
About Research Festival
º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s Research Festival first launched in 2022 as a university-wide event, aimed at celebrating, reconnecting and reenergising º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s research community following two years of restricted research during the COVID-19 pandemic. It included research showcases, workshops, tours, pitch competitions, networking and social activities, and public lectures.
Following the success of the event in 2022, º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ's Research Festival was held in 2023 and 2024. The Festival is a celebration of the impact of the University's research
The 2024 Festival focused on 'research in real life': the impact º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ research makes on Canberra and the surrounding region and offered practical insights for members of our community. Approximately 20 events were held across Canberra and on campus over the month of November.
Research Festival 2023 aimed to demonstrate the University’s connection to Canberra and showcase the impact of some of our successful university-industry partnerships within Canberra and the region.
The inaugural Research Festival, held over five days in June, 2022, provided the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ research community an opportunity to celebrate, re-connect and re-energise, following two years of restricted research. The festival showcased the University’s innovative and multidisciplinary research, and included presentations and public lectures, tours and workshops, pitch competitions and more.
