'This was a truly collaborative project. Driven by the children's interest in superheroes, they chose Max as their inspiration to create their own story. The project ran over four weeks, involving a variety of activities. Through a truly democratic process, they voted on all aspects including character profile, superpower, and resolution to the story. The teachers felt, by engaging with Max, the children learned about respecting and appreciating others differences and unique abilities'.
